1. Purpose and acceptance

These Terms of Use (hereinafter the "Terms") are intended to define the conditions of access to and use of the Camio service (hereinafter the "Service" or "Camio"), accessible on the camio.fr website.

The Service is provided by La team Camio (hereinafter "we", "our" or "Camio").

Using the Service implies full and complete acceptance of these Terms. By creating an account on Camio, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and accepted these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, you must not use the Service.

2. Description of the service

Camio is a free platform that allows mobile caterers (food trucks) to create and manage their own professional website. The Service offers in particular:

  • Creation of a personalised website with a unique URL
  • Management of locations and the schedule
  • Display of the menu and products
  • Photo gallery
  • Contact form
  • Practical information (opening hours, private hire, etc.)
  • Geolocation on an interactive map

The Service is provided free of charge to users who create an account and accept these Terms.

3. Registration and user account

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be a natural or legal person carrying out a mobile catering activity
  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information when registering
  • Validate your email address
  • Create a secure password
  • Accept these Terms

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential. Any activity carried out from your account is presumed to have been performed by you.

You undertake to inform us immediately of any unauthorised use of your account.

4. User obligations

By using the Service, you undertake to:

  • Use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose and in compliance with the laws and regulations in force
  • Not publish any unlawful, defamatory, insulting, discriminatory content or content contrary to public decency
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of third parties (photos, texts, logos, etc.)
  • Not use the Service for fraudulent purposes or to harm others
  • Not attempt to circumvent the security measures of the Service
  • Not use the Service to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • More generally, not misuse the Service
  • Keep the information of your account and your food truck page up to date
  • Comply with the regulations applicable to your activity (hygiene, food safety, authorisations, etc.)

5. Content published by the user

You retain all intellectual property rights to the content you publish on your page (texts, photos, menus, etc.). By publishing content on Camio, you grant Camio a non-exclusive, free and worldwide licence to:

  • Display this content on your food truck page
  • Use this content to promote the Camio Service (examples, demonstrations, etc.)
  • Store and host this content on our servers

You warrant that you hold all the rights necessary for the content you publish and that this content does not infringe the rights of third parties.

Camio reserves the right to delete or modify any content that does not comply with these Terms or the applicable legislation, without prior notice.

6. Availability and maintenance

We strive to ensure that the Service is available 24/7. However, the Service may be temporarily unavailable for reasons of maintenance, updates or force majeure.

Camio cannot be held liable for service interruptions, data loss or damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.

7. Liability

Camio is a content hosting service. We are not responsible for:

  • The content published by users on their pages
  • Commercial transactions between food trucks and their customers
  • The quality, safety or compliance of the products/services offered by food trucks
  • Direct or indirect damage resulting from the use of the Service
  • Data loss, even in the event of fault on our part

You are solely responsible for the content you publish and for the consequences of its publication. You undertake to indemnify Camio against any claim arising from your use of the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The Camio Service, including its design, source code, features and brand, is the exclusive property of La team Camio and is protected by French and international intellectual property laws.

Any unauthorised reproduction, representation, modification or exploitation of the Service is prohibited and may give rise to legal proceedings.

9. Personal data

The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

By using the Service, you accept the processing of your personal data in accordance with this policy.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time using the form available on the GDPR page.

Camio reserves the right to suspend or delete your account in the event of:

  • Failure to comply with these Terms
  • Fraudulent use of the Service
  • Publication of unlawful or inappropriate content
  • Prolonged inactivity of the account

In the event of termination, your data will be deleted in accordance with our privacy policy, unless there is a legal obligation to retain it.

11. Modification of the Terms

Camio reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. The modifications take effect as soon as they are published on this page.

12. Applicable law and jurisdiction
